CAMBA Gardens Ground Breaking in New York

The latest supportive housing project sponsored by our partners at CAMBA/CAMBA Housing Ventures represents a true collaborative effort among government, private and nonprofit partners. When completed, CAMBA Gardens will provide 209 units of affordable and supportive housing on the Kings County Hospital Center Campus in Brooklyn, New York. With direct access to health care at the hospital, this project will provide much needed affordable housing and is a unique model of repurposing underutilized hospital property.

At a recent groundbreaking ceremony, CSH President and CEO Deb DeSantis was among the group of officials to speak to the collaborative efforts to make this project a reality: “CSH is proud to support the CAMBA Gardens project. It’s a great example of government, private and nonprofit partners coming together to provide safe and affordable homes for New York’s most vulnerable.”
