On Thursday, March 7 the Little Tokyo Service Center (LTSC) Community Development Corporation and Koreatown Youth and Community Center (KYCC) celebrated the grand opening of the Menlo Family Apartments – a 60 unit affordable and permanent supportive housing community for transition aged youth, homeless families, children with mental illness, and low-income families.

The Menlo Family Apartments, located in Koreatown of Los Angeles  is certified a “green” building by the Enterprise Green Communities, and features over 4,000 square feet of services space and community rooms on the ground floor. Services, provided by KYCC, will include afterschool programs, life skills training, financial literacy and parenting, and mental health counseling and treatment.  The project was financed with a combination of private and public funding, including $1,495,000 from CSH.

As of January 2014, Menlo Apartments is fully leased-up.  However, a waitlist is available.  To inquire, please contact the property management office at (213) 388-8570.
