CSH Welcomes Megan Maxwell-Ranjbar in Indiana

CSH is proud to welcome Megan Maxwell-Ranjbar to the team as a Program Manager in Indiana. Megan has extensive experience in the field with a strong background in development, providing technical assistance, and nine years of experience of creating quality supportive housing in Indiana.

For the past three years, Megan served as the Director of Property Development for Partners in Housing Development Corporation in Indianapolis. She successfully managed direct activities for development projects, including acquisition, rehabilitation, and new construction. Megan prepared budgets, completed underwriting for several deals, administered capital grants, prepared loan applications, and managed finances of development activities. In this role, she brought her understanding of funding sources and how to best put together a project along with her robust understanding of vulnerable populations, and the roles of property management and supportive services.

During her time at Partners in Housing, Megan served as a  member of the Indianapolis CoC, the Indianapolis Coordinated Access Steering Committee, and the Indianapolis CoC Program Application and Technical Assistance Committee.

While working for the Indiana Housing and Community Development Authority (IHCDA), Megan created integrated application forms with CSH to lead teams through Supportive Housing Institutes with a holistic approach to developing high quality supportive housing projects in Indiana. This meant that teams who completed the homework from the Institute had also completed most of their funding applications for IHCDA, and were able to receive feedback along the way to ensure that their proposals were in line with the Indiana Balance of State Continuum of Care and IHCDA objectives. At IHCDA, Megan also provided TA for HUD’s OneCPD programs, HOME Investment Partnerships Program, Community Development Block Grants, the Neighborhood Stabilization Program, and Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS.

As a Program Manager, Megan will lead the planning and implementation of the Indiana Balance of State CoC Coordinated Access plan; provide technical assistance to development teams; lead training sessions related to coordinated access activities, supportive housing, and ending homelessness; and a host of additional responsibilities to advance solutions that use housing as a platform for services to improve the lives of the most vulnerable people, maximize public resources and build healthy communities.

Welcome aboard, Megan!
