Charity Navigator rates charities by evaluating two broad areas of performance; their Financial Health and their Accountability & Transparency. The subsequent ratings show givers how efficiently a charity will use their support today, and how well it has sustained its programs and services over time and a charity’s level of commitment to being accountable and transparent.
Charity Navigator requires 7 years of forms to complete an evaluation, As such, their reviews and considerations are deliberate, well-thought-out processes. Their 4-Star ratings reflect a charity’s stable, dependable performance over the long haul.
CSH joins an exclusive club by being deemed exceptional with a 4-Star rating. Out of the over 7,500 charities evaluated by Charity Navigator, less than 1/3 ever receive a 4-Star rating.
