CSH Partners in the Successful Bid for MA “Pay for Success” Contract

CSH is excited to share news about our role in a new partnership led by Massachusetts Housing and Shelter Alliance (MHSA), with Third Sector Capitol and the United Way of Massachusetts Bay and Merrimack Valley. The partnership was announced today as the initial successful bidder by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts to mount a program structured around Social Innovation Financing—also known as Social Impact Bonds or Pay for Success contracts. Massachusetts is the first state in the nation to issue a competitive process to obtain services using social innovation financing and it is extremely exciting that one of the two focus areas is ending homelessness for some of the Commonwealth’s most vulnerable individuals. CSH is committed to using supportive housing solutions to pull people with the most complex issues out of the revolving door of homelessness and costly crisis health services.
