McKinley Grove Opens Doors

As previously reported in the Pipeline (see related story) , McKinley Grove, a new supportive housing project in Ohio continues to make the news!  The project was recently showcased in the September 2013 Issue of the SUITES Magazine for the Northeast Ohio Apartment Association.  McKinley Grove Publication (NOAA) Karen McLeod, Executive Director, expressed sincere appreciation of all of CSH’s support, which helped her organization open the doors to McKinley Grove in June.

“There are now 17 individuals with a new place to live in Lake County”, Karen says.  “Tenants love their own place to live and want to learn new skills so they can keep their end of the lease agreement. It is a win-win-win situation -a win for the consumer, a win for Extended Housing, and a win for the community!”

CSH provided over $70,000 in grants, a project initiation loan and training stipends for our Institutes.  CSH also provided a $343,500 loan to help the project meet funder deadlines.
