On Friday, October 17, at 2:30pm, Maximizing HA Authority to House Medically Vulnerable Homeless Clients: A Story from Los Angeles will help attendees understand how to identify partners and establish working relationships that benefit a shared population in their communities, as well as how to leverage the services of supportive housing to decrease the administrative burden a housing authority faces from unstable tenants and a high rate of turnover.
Then, on Saturday at 8:30am, join us for Public Financing and Development Costs, Impacts, Issues to learn how to identify 5 cost drivers resulting for the use of public funds in the development of affordable housing, articulate to policy makers and public funders the impact of their decisions on other public benefits on the total development costs of publically funded affordable housing, and explain the positive impact on residents and the increased security for investors and lenders.
Also on Saturday, CSH will be among the panelists presenting at the Ending Homelessness Symposium. Our talks will focus on ending homelessness among Veterans and people who are chronically homeless through permanent supportive housing, and leveraging mainstream resources to end homelessness.
