The Michigan State Housing Development Authority (MSHDA), in conjunction with Michigan State University, hosted a delegation of 17 Mexican federal and state government officials. At this convening, Mexican leaders learned about effective strategies used in the state of Michigan to end homelessness, including a focus on the intervention of supportive housing for the most vulnerable Michigan residents who require both affordable housing and flexible, voluntary supportive services.
Lisa Chapman, CSH Director in Michigan, Kelly Rose, MSHDA Rental Assistance & Homeless Solutions Manager, and Eric Hufnagel, Michigan Coalition Against Homelessness (MCAH) Executive Director presented information about the various programs that are a part of the MI campaign to end homelessness.
